Transolutions CIS was founded in 1996 as a full-service representation and business development firm servicing the Russian rolling stock market.
Initially, the company's main focus was to facilitate business opportunities for U.S. and western companies in the Russian and CIS railway and oil and gas sectors.
During its long-term presence in the Russian and CIS markets, Transolutions CIS has accumulated extensive experience and in-country contacts necessary to provide seasoned and qualified recommendations on business strategies and development to implement successful railway and oil and gas projects in Russia and the CIS.
In 2006, Transolutions, Inc. and its Russian subsidiary, Transolutions CIS, were acquired by Amsted Rail — a leading global railway supplier specializing in production of components and equipment for freight railcars.
Transolutions CIS’s primary objective is to introduce Amsted Rail’s products and proprietary technology into the CIS market. Our goal, together with our strategic CIS partners, is to raise rolling stock and equipment quality and performance standards in the railway sector to new levels.
